Why to Market On-Line

The Bad News About Network Marketing

There are many good network marketing companies throughout the world that have the following things going for them:

  • Longevity & financial stability
  • Excellent business reputation
  • Outstanding  products & services
  • Lucrative compensation plans

But most of these same companies train their distributors to use outdated, ineffective sales and marketing methods that virtually guarantee failure for 97% of their sales force.  That’s insane!  But they use the same old training because they believe it is easily duplicatable.  I don’t know about you, but I don’t want that failure rate duplicated in my downline.  I want the folks I’m working with to have the very best possible chance of attaining their goals and dreams.

The best way I’ve found to help people succeed in their business, is to get them trained to use the internet for attraction marketing - help them learn to attract prospects instead of chasing prospects.  There are several reasons network marketing companies don’t teach their distributors how to do this:

  • They don’t know about attraction marketing and how it works
  • If they do know about it, they think it’s not duplicatable because you can’t learn it in an afternoon
  • The training and tools cost money over and above the MLM’s sign-up and product costs
  • Trying to get people to engage in the necessary training would create a high drop-out rate

It boggles my mind that these companies are content to simply sign up any warm body, and then, with very minimal training, unleash them on unsuspecting groups of friends and families to completely turn these people off to their products and services.  -  And then go back and duplicate the failure again and again.  That’s the bad news about network marketing.

The Good News About Network Marketing

The good news is that with the right training, persistence, and some elbow grease, almost anyone can succeed in this industry.  Of course, the gumption and persistence are up to you.   So,  where does one get the right training, you may ask?  Well, there are many sources for learning attraction marketing and the computer skills necessary to implement it.  Some of them are even free.  Many of them are very expensive.

My experience has been that while some resources are free, the free resources are scattered all over cyberspace. Plus, there is no cohesive roadmap as to exactly what information will help and how to effectively implement the knowledge that is available.  I’ve found the same thing to be true of some of the very expensive programs and information products that are available.  When you are trying to get a business up and running quickly, you don’t want to waste time or money trying to figure all this stuff out.  You need a system that will train you in the necessary steps to start making money.  These steps include:

  • Putting up a website
  • Effective copywriting
  • Setting up an autoresponder
  • Understanding various marketing methods
  • Developing a marketing campaign
  • Learning what to do with prospects once you find them
  • Training and coaching your downline

Trying to put all this together without structured guidance is difficult, at best.  It is impossible for most people.  Fortunately, there is reasonably priced training available for the internet marketing beginner that covers all the fundamentals.  If you are interested in finding out more, leave your contact information below, and I will email you some material that will help you make an informed decision about how you want to grow your business.
